A native of San José, Costa Rica, Daniel Meneses began his study of the trumpet in the Sistema Nacional de Educación Musical with Professor Luis Felipe Hidalgo. Further study in Costa Rica led Daniel to masterclasses with Andrea Tofanelli, Juan Avendaño, and Rubén Simeo, private study with German Paniagua at the Instituto Nacional de la Música, and performances with the Orquesta Manuel Maria Gutierrez, Orquesta Julio Fonseca, and participation in the premier Brass Encounter of Central America, held in El Salvador. In 2025, Daniel obtained his Bachelor's degree under the studio of Professor Marc Reese at LYNN Conservatory in the United States. He was a member of the Lynn Philharmonia, the conservatory's brass quintet, and participated in masterclasses with Caleb Hudson, Jose Sibaja, Anthony Prisk, and Charles Lazarus.
